Manchester united appoints new football director and technical Director.
Still basking in the euphoria of their recent mind boggling victory over derby rival man city, the club has appointed John Murtough as the club’s new football director in a bid to strengthen the clubs football operation.
Murtough who has been head of football development for seven years will be working alongside club manager Ole Gunnar Solsk jaer in his new role.
In a statement issued by the new football director of premier league club, Murtough said “ this is such an exciting time for everyone at Manchester united with the first team , Academy and women’s team ll performing strongly, and plenty of development still to come”.
Stepping into the the role of technical director is the former Man U midfielder Fletcher, who joined the coaching staff of Solsk jaer in January.
Expressing his excitement, Fletcher said “ its great to be back with the club and I am delighted to be taking on this new role”.
